A Venue and a Company

The Théâtre de l’Opprimé—Paris opened a venue in the twelfth district of Paris in 1996 with the aim of developing the company’s activities: workshops, training sessions, Forum Theatres…
Today, this venue, supported by a team of artists, technicians and administrative staff, has become a space for performance and theatrical discovery.
Beside its regular activities, the TO—Paris supports contemporary creativity, producing at least one show each year, and working in partnership with around ten other companies for a further two hundred or so shows per year.
