PRESENTATION

Under the direction of Rui Frati, training courses and workshops are facilitated by a team of actors/trainers who each take charge of different aspects of our practice. They are: Joel Anderson, Delphine Dey, Christine Duron, Estelle Rosenfeld, and Vincent Vidal.
Drawing on the techniques of the Theatre of the Oppressed and their own performing arts experience, they take charge of this work each year.
A founding principle: conflict is at the core of theatrical action, with a protagonist and an antagonist who, by confronting each other, provoke both an emotional and a reflective response from the audience. By engaging in dialogue with this audience, we enable later actions.
Current events, with their violence, difficulties or oppressions, are dealt with in different workshops, each with its own specificities.

To give people a voice, to uncover conflicts, to explore, experience and discover together the best way to stage them. To interact and enter into dialogue with the audience, to understand with others the various hypotheses contained in an activity.
Those workshops are open to all, with no age limit. They take place at the Théâtre de l’Opprimé—Paris, during the school holidays and last between five and seven days.
