Terms of Sales

The only commercial service offered on the website is the sale of tickets.

To do this, the Théâtre de l'Opprimé uses the ticketing solution, for which here is the legal information: general conditions of sale and personal data policy.

Legal information Mapado
Personal data policy
Mapado is a site published by Mapado SAS, a French company based in Lyon. We are therefore subject to French and European regulations which are very protective in terms of personal data.

In accordance with law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 as amended (known as the “Informatique et Liberté” law), Mapado has declared to the CNIL the processing of Users’ personal data (declaration number: 1686160). You have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning you (art. 34 of the “Informatique et Libertés” law).

To exercise this right, you can contact us by regular mail: Mapado – 3 rue chardonnet, 69004 Lyon

Data for which you explicitly give us permission
When you use our services (registration on the site, purchase of tickets, participation in contests, etc.), you provide us with personal information. This may include, depending on the use you make of our services, your e-mail address, your telephone number, your name, a profile photo but also comments, mentions, geolocation information, your payment details, tickets you buy and when you buy them…

You can also give us permission to access your data on other services. For example, you can choose to associate your Facebook account with your Mapado account which may allow us to access data from these accounts (for example, your profile picture on Facebook). The information we obtain this way depends on their privacy policies and the permissions you give us when linking, so be sure to review them.

In any case, we undertake to use this data solely for the purposes of proper performance of our services and for statistical purposes, obviously within a legal framework and according to the authorizations you have given us:

Ticketing solution
As part of our ticketing solution, we transmit in particular some of this information to the organizers of the events for which you buy tickets, to the banking intermediaries who validate the payments or even to the legitimate services within the framework of a control (control providers at the entrance, tax services, collection of duties, etc.).

SEO solution
As part of our referencing solution, we transmit in particular some of this information to the calendars where you wish to refer your event.

Mapado Scan App
As part of the Mapado Scan application (mobile application for professionals to control tickets at the entrance), we request in particular permission to access your mobile identification information (for security purposes), to the integrated camera (to be able to scan the tickets), to the storage of your mobile (to be able to keep track of valid tickets) as well as to the Internet. These are permissions requested for the strict use of the Ticket Scan functionality in the best conditions (in particular, we do not record images or sounds from the camera once the code analysis has been carried out, we do not exploit any data present on your internet storage or your SD card that we have not recorded ourselves, …)

Technical data when you use our services
When you use a service via the Internet, your browser or your application sends technical data necessary for the operation of our services. This includes in particular your IP address, the type of browser and its settings (such as the preferred language), your type of device (PC, MAC, telephone, tablet, etc.), the date and time of your request or data relating to cookies.
There are two types of cookies: “session” cookies (whose information is erased when you close your browser) and “persistent” cookies (which resist closing a browser). The former will allow us, for example, to know what your basket is when you order a ticket and you go between several pages, the latter allow us to recognize you when you return to our services (to avoid you having to identify yourself at new, to allow us to improve our services according to your route and your frequency of visit, etc.).

Data we have obtained from third parties
Mapado indexes millions of activities around the world. They come from multiple sources: open data, partnerships with tourist offices, ticketing platforms, social networks, official event or venue sites, etc. and are analyzed and published on Mapado by automated algorithms.

We consider this to be public data and not personal since it was published voluntarily to promote events or activities. But it can also be an error on the part of our algorithms (indexing errors) or on the part of our data sources (who have disseminated information that you have entrusted to them without your authorization). If this is the case, we are obviously sorry and we invite you to modify them, see them disappear by simply using the modification forms accessible in one click from all the activity pages. You can also contact us using the means explained above.

You can find out more about our personal data policy in chapter V of our general conditions of use.

And don't hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions!
