Season 25-26 : The T.O's 30th season

And the ship sails on…

… with you, artists and the public , you who join us for the 25/26 season, the thirtieth chapter of our journey.

More than ever, we must work to uphold our place in the city, disregarding the rhetoric of the bureaucrats and the economic promises they make to arms manufacturers and their acolytes.

Sophocles, Shakespeare, Lope de Vega, Tchekhov… they continue to live on.

They inspire us, using utopia as the motor of their work, as a motor of life!

Working in Latin America, I made the connection between our constant struggle against colonial hegemony and the Middle-East… specifically AUNHOR in Lebanon and those people who dare to run a masters program on non-violence in this wounded territory, bringing to life culture and humanity.

Let us nourish hope.

Let us create theater pieces.

We must use our stage so that the memory of our era will not be sullied by the more distressing current events.

​

Resisting while working on multiple fronts, welcoming you, that is our daily life. Onward!

Moving forward, in the wake of our 3 shared decades with you, we will push to continue to create pieces, workshops, and events.

Let us bring humanity together. Let us offer each other dignity in the face of the dystopian vulgarity that they are trying to impose on us.
